Well it's about time I got some photos of the new toy up here, I've had it a few weeks.

It's a Pearl White 1996 (gen2.5 shape) non-turbo manual in pretty good nick despite some early hiccups. Passed a WOF today without blinking, I can't remember the last time that happened to me!
It's also the stripped-down version with no ABS, 4WS or cruise control. Suspension feels a lot stiffer than the ECS in the '92 and I swear it looks lower. I'll find out when the '92 has wheels again...

Very nice! White looks good aye. But the hoop wing spoiler tops it off!

Yeah the back of this car is its best aspect I reckon. A few people might groan when they read this but after all those months of trawling for a '97-shape GTO I've decided that the best shape of all is really the first-generation, especially when it's red. But I'm still stoked with the white car, it proved on Sunday that there's nothing wrong with it bar a bit of lifter tick. It had me going for a while with that overheating incident but I'm happy to put it down to a one-off at this stage.

But I reckon this car has better shape than all the others, hoop spoiler and the gen2.5 front bumper makes the whole car smooth, curvy and one piece.

White makes it look so clean and angel like. Mine is more of the devil,
